About the owner
Welcome to Fur Love of Dog LLC (Furloveofdog.com). My name is Bill Bresnahan VSA-CDT. I am a certified positive dog trainer and pet care specialist based out of Beverly MA (Ryal Side) 01915. You can contact me at 978-998-1691 I have been a pet parent for 18 years. Cooper, Poet, Rosie and Beau are my inspiration for starting this business. A dog’s unconditional love is a priceless gift. Their health, happiness and well-being are my number 1 priority. If you are anything like me, you take joy from the excitement your pup exudes when you reach for the leash or say the magic “w” word. And, you do not want just anyone or any daycare taking care of your fur babies. You want peace of mind knowing that your dogs will be safe, secure, and spoiled.

My inspiration
In 2012 in Beverly MA, the unthinkable happened. My beautiful boy Cooper suddenly fell ill to a tumor on the right side of his heart. I cherished every second with him. From hiking, playing Frisbee, training him, teaching him how to say “I love you” ( I have the video to prove it) or more simply our every day walks. So I guess in some small way, training and walking keeps him with me (Cooper is in the picture below).
Our Mission for care
To provide the highest level of training, enrichment, and care that we would give our own family members. We believe helping dogs to feel confident, safe and secure is top priority. We aim to alleviate as stress. We hold much respect in the fact that providing your dog proper time to “sniff”, exercise and receive stimulation is one of the most important elements for their well-being.  We strive to go above and beyond our clients’ expectations through our punctuality, responsibility, and communication.

Training Philosophy
100% Positive Reinforcement Training always. Building a bond with you and your dog is my top priority. I want to help you to understand what your dog is telling you and how to communicate most effectively to your dog. I will observe, assess, and inquire how the dog feels in their environment. Once I have an understanding how your dog sees his/her world I will help you to build your bond with your dog. Then we will build their confidence together through positive reinforcement using high value rewards such as food, toys, and affection.
Our Team
In Amalia's words: “Hi there! My name is Amalia Crawford! I am 25 years old and I live in Beverly, MA. I graduated from Endicott College in 2016 with a degree in Criminal Justice and am currently pursuing another degree in Environmental Studies in order to place my focus more on environmental justice. I have been working with pets for 10+ years starting as a young girl watching and walking family members and friends dogs. I have a senior dog of my own, George, who I love and take on walks every single day. I am an avid hiker and beach goer. I genuinely enjoy seeing the excitement and pure happiness of a dog when I am taking care of them. It is why taking good care of pets is one of my many passions I hold dear to my heart. I would love to meet your pet and see what adventures are next for them!” Amalia is featured in the below picture

Ruby is 20 years old. She just finished her second year at UMASS Boston as a Criminology major. She has experience with dogs using many positive reinforcement strategies and her love of dogs exudes from her. Please help us give Ruby a very warm welcome.
In Ruby's words: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life, my parents had one when I was a baby and my grandparents always had a pup. I can not remember a time in my life where there wasn't a dog in the family, they are such an important part of our family. I love dogs so much, they are so gentle, kind, and loving. I love to spend as much time as I can with them. I've been a babysitter and nanny for years now and I love taking care of the family dogs as well as children. To be able to be a caretaker for just pets would be a dream! I love to take care of pets and others, let's make the world a kinder place! <3

Amalia, Ruby, and I are excited to announce that Monica Cassola is joining our team!!! She will be utilizing her familial pet care skills as an additional pet sitter for the Fur Love of Dog LLC family. Monica is 28 years old. She is a licensed massage therapist from Spa Tech Institute in Ipswich MA.  She has experience with dogs using many positive reinforcement strategies and she is intuitive to our canine companions. Please help us give Monica a very warm welcome.

In Monica's words- Hey everyone! My name is Monica Cassola and I am a Beverly native. I have had the privilege of knowing Bill from a young age being active in the Beverly Recreation Department and now I have the pleasure of having him help me work with my golden retriever Maddie. It is so great to see the progress with just a little bit of repetition. There has only been one, two week period in my life where I haven’t had a dog and that was two weeks too long! My favorite thing about dogs is their endless compassion, especially if they are being well taken care of which is my goal! My answer to all questions is “I’d rather be with my dog”. I’m thrilled to be joining the team!

Scott B- “Bill has been working with our Milo to help with some behavioral issues, I call spoiled dog syndrome. From the time we met Bill we, and most importantly Milo, knew he had a a genuine love of dogs and a passion for helping. Bill shows extreme patience and uses strategies that are all about reward and praise. In the short time Bill has worked with us, we have seen great improvement in Milos behavior. Bill has also helped us out on short notice caring for Milo when we were away from the house for longer than he is used to. Finally we have trust in his associate Amalia to provide overnight care.”
